It's no secret that I'm a DJ, hell bent on becoming the first mercenary DROiD of sound (you should see what I'm cooking up.. You will if you're following @theneopink) What many probably don't know is my sets are almost completely blind. What does that mean? I curate sounds that I think work for an upcoming gig, into a playlist as I'm out and about during the day. This can be months or weeks beforehand. On the day I spend about 2 hours finding or buying said tracks and putting them into a rough order playlist. I'll listen to the beginning and the end of each track and mentally mix them together to make sure they flow. And that's it. When it's showtime, I don't know if any of it will work. But it always does and I might cut tracks up earlier or veer off with some other tracks instead. It is a complete and utter ego experiment that has the added bonus of a crowd being into it but also not knowing I'm in for the audio experience too. That's why DROiDs do dance... In the DJ booth 😂😂😂
